The MP2000 is a ruggedized dot matrix printer designed for mobile and portable applications. Capable of printing one original and four copies, it can be used either with sprocket feed or friction feed documents and tickets.

Enclosed in a metal housing the MP2000 has a low profile: 13.8” x 3.2” x 3.3”. A paper load lever provides quick access to sprockets and an access cover is provided for ribbon replacement. The mechanism and controller are shock mounted for improved tolerance to shock and vibration.

The printer mechanism utilizes a 9-pin impact printhead, 2 DC motors for vertical and horizontal paper movement and ribbon advancement. The mechanism will operate at temperatures from +14F to +122F°. The unit operates on mobile power of 12 VDC.

The standard MP2000 provides an RS232 interface (DB 9). Parallel and Bluetooth interface is optional. It is shipped with a power cable, serial data communication cable, user manual and two years warranty. Optional available are I/O cables, papertrays, mounting brackets, IRDA (infra red), USB 1.1 interfaces and shock absorber plates.
